BRITANNIA GATHERING IN BOURNEMOUTH
WEEK END TIMETABLE
FRIDAY 03RD OCTOBER 2003.
Arrival of some of our citizens. Laureatus will be
around to help them with check-in details and
hopefully convince a handful to join him for a drink
in a local pub.
SATURDAY 04TH OCTOBER 2003.
Morning : General arrival. A meeting point in the bar
area will be organised so we can meet each other in a
relaxed atmosphere.
12.30 - 14.00 : Lunch in the pub "Moon in the Square".
14.00 - 17.00 : Provincial meeting hosted by our
Propraetor Decimus Iunius Silanus. Various topics
concerning the Provincia will be discussed; Full
details are recorded in the agenda.
19.30 : Greek meal at "Zorba's" for a feel of the Mare
Nostrum.
Late evening at leisure to sample the night life
delights of Sunny Bournemouth.
SUNDAY 05TH OCTOBER 2003.
From 10.00 AM : Organised visit of Old Sarum, an
ancient fortified celtic oppidum, one of the numerous
places that were defeated by Vespasian's legions when
invading Britain under Claudius' reign.
Duration of the visit and numbers attending will
depend on personnal commitments.
